He committed suicide on July 23, 1942. Pp. [viii] [3, including two-page map] + 420; illustrations, Documentary Appendix, Notation on Sources and Index. An unmarked copy, About Fine, in a mylar-protected dustjacket, unclipped but with fading to the spine ad minor chips and creases along the edges. An important source of the history of occupied Warsaw from a unique perspective.
