Burnaby, B.C.; Fraser Valley Milk Producers' Association, 1967. Magazine format 4to. (approx. 30cm.) in Stapled Wraps. Near Fine. 62 pp. + covers; archival photographs throughout. This edition was a special issue featuring articles and archival photographs on the 50-year history of the Fraser Valley Milk Producers' Association. These photos include: a 'milk sniffer' checking freshness in the early days; the first motor transport of milk, 1910 - but in 1934, there were still 97 horses housed in the Association barn; the 1894 flood of the Fraser Valley; the annual picnic in 1919; the Burnaby plant; and scything at Chilliwack in 1905. Biographies and portraits are given for the Presidents of the Association since its inception in 1917. Articles reflect all aspects of the history of milk production and delivery in the Fraser Valley. Small areas of light smudging to front cover; clean internally; binding tight. Uncommon and desirable.
